Be one of the Youth Curators for The YA Collective presented by Scribblers Festival. Scribblers Festival is looking for people aged 13-17. If you love books, storytelling and festivals, this is your chance to gain skills and experience curating and working on a major event.

This is an open call to artists between 14 and 26 years old, anywhere in WA, to create a new piece of art in response to our 2024 Festival theme ‘Ngaangk,’ meaning both ‘sun’ and ‘mother’ in Noongar.

Apply for The Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship
The Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarships offer talented young artists (aged 21-35 at the closing date) the chance to explore, study and develop their artistic gifts through travelling either interstate and/or overseas.
In 2024, the scholarships will provide financial support for the disciplines of acting, instrumental music, painting and poetry to help talented Australian artists achieve their dreams. In 2025, the scholarships will provide financial support for the disciplines of architecture, ballet, prose, sculpture and singing.

Artist Call Out - KISS CLUB 2024: KickstART Edition
The ever popular KISS club returns in 2024 with Propel Youth Arts WA’s Youth Week WA KickstART Festival, in partnership with Midland Junction Arts Centre.
KISS club is a showcase of works in progress by emerging and established artists from various live and experimental arts disciplines. It was founded by Sydney artist Karen Therese and has been run by pvi collective, a tactical media group, since 2010. From 2017 to 2020, KISS club was delivered in partnership with PICA, and in 2022, it became a platform exclusive to emerging artists with the inaugural KickstART Edition.
